Creating a More Tolerant Society Through the Power of Music!
The Boston Gay Men’s Chorus is one of New England’s largest and most successful community-based choruses. Now in its 26th season, the 175-voice ensemble is celebrated for its outstanding musicianship, creative programming, and groundbreaking community outreach.
Formed in the first waves of the Gay Liberation movement that followed the Stonewall Riots, Dignity/Boston has been providing a home for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered (GLBT) Catholics, their friends and supporters since 1972.
Dignity/Boston was formed to unite these people and provide an instrument through which the voices of GLBT Catholics may be heard by the Church and by society.
Organization Name: Empowering Spirits Foundation, Inc.
The Empowering Spirits Foundation, Inc. (ESF) is a non-profit, non-partisan grass-root based civil rights organization working to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality. ESF members engage in service-oriented activities in communities typically opposed to equal rights. In working side-by-side with our non-LGBT neighbors they may come to see similarities rather than differences in each of us, and we can engage in dialogue through non-confrontational means to promote equality. Additionally, the ESF develops community awareness, collaborates with other coalitions, and empowers individuals and organizations to engage in the political process for equality through educational endeavors.

GMDVP
The Gay Men’s Domestic Violence Project is a grassroots, non-profit organization founded by a gay male survivor of domestic violence and developed through the strength, contributions and participation of the community.
Misson Statement:
The Gay Men’s Domestic Violence Project supports victims and survivors through education, advocacy and direct services. Understanding that the serious public health issue of domestic violence is not gender specific, we serve men in relationships with men, regardless of how they identify, and stand ready to assist them in navigating through abusive relationships.
Organization Name: The Boston Alliance of GLBT Youth
The Boston Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Youth provides weekly and monthly social activities and special events for people ages 22 and under. These activities provide an opportunity for youth to socialize, have fun and develop a sense of personal and community identity.
